The skincare hack that will change how you use clay masks.

The History of Clay Masks
Clay masks have been a staple in our beauty routines for centuries, dating back to the Ancient Egyptians. It is believed that Cleopatra used clay masks to beautify her skin and draw out impurities.

The secret you didn’t know?
Clay masks shouldn’t be allowed to dry on the skin. Allowing the mask to dry completely draws impurities, but it also draws water out of the epidermis, which can lead to dehydration and breakouts. That’s why facialists will use a steamer during the mask treatment.

Top Tip
Try applying your clay mask and then taking a shower or a bath while it sets, or spritz it with water to keep it slightly damp. Rinse off completely after ten minutes and follow with moisturiser.
